Certification package: what you get

TCO certification is a complete package. Included in every certification is the following:

1. The opportunity to take the certification exam.
The certification exam is a one-hour closed-book multiple choice exam supplied and completed online by the student. The examination can be re-taken for an additional fee if necessary.

Plus, on achieving a passing grade (70% for most certifications, 85% for the TCSME certification):

2. A full-color personalized Certificate suitable for framing
- In PDF format, emailed: no additional charge. The PDF can be immediately printed on plain or textured paper on any color printer and framed by student as desired, with no shipping charges. It can also be attached to the electronic version of the student's CV.
- Should the student wish TCO to supply a hard copy printed certificate on archive-quality acid-free heavy paper by mail, there is a fee of $25 plus shipping and handling. Shipping and handling for USA and Canada is $35. All other destinations is $45. Extra printed copies are $12 each.
Rush processing (next-day domestic FedEx or UPS) is $75

3. Right to display the TCO logo.
The student will be provided with access to high-resolution copyrighted artwork of the TCO logo, masthead and seal and given the right to display them on their resume, business card, web page, blog, signature block and similar applications.

4. TCO Certification Designation
The successful student will have the choice of stating that they:
o “hold a certificate in xxx from the Telecommunications Certification Organization”
o are “certified in xxx by the Telecommunications Certification Organization”
o are a “Telecommunications Certification Organization (TCO) Certified Technology Analyst in xxx”
o are “TCO-certified”
and may sign their name “Richard Smith, Certified Telecommunications Technology Analyst” or “Jane Smith, C.T.A.”

In the case of successful TCSME certification, the student may state that they:
o are a “Telecommunications Certification Organization (TCO) Subject Matter Expert”
o are “certified as a Subject Matter Expert by the Telecommunications Certification Organization”

List of available designations and titles
